We speak with with legendary folk-rock guitarist, singer and songwriter Richard Thompson. He’s a brilliant guitarist, a witty and articulate lyricist and storyteller, and a frequent innovator. His career started with the folk-rock band Fairport Convention in 1967 and he has toured, recorded and headlined with Bob Dylan, Bonnie Raitt, Emmylou Harris, Robert Plant, Don Henly, David Byrne, and Elvis Costello. We talk with him about his career and about his upcoming book Beeswing: Britain, Folk Rock and the End of the 60's.
