Elizabeth Sautter is a licensed speech and language pathologist. Since 1996, she has worked with preschool to adult clients and their families in private practice, schools, and hospitals. She is an expert in the field of supporting those with social, self-regulation, and executive functioning challenges. Elizabeth has also co-authored two popular children’s books with Kristen Wilson, entitled Whole Body Listening Larry at Home and Whole Body Listening Larry at School (www.socialthinking.com), which help to break down what is expected and ways to keep others feeling comfortable in a listening situation. She has also published Make Social Learning Stick! How to Guide and Nurture Social Competence Through Everyday Routines and Activities (aapcpublishing.com), which provides 185 ideas for embracing teachable moments in the home and community to practice and build social and emotional skills. In her blog MakeSocialLearningStick, she shares her own parenting and life experiences raising two boys.
