The mission of the McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center is "to educate, incite and entertain learners of all ages in the sciences and humanities by actively engaging them in the exploration of astronomy, aviation, Earth and space science."
Our guest, Jeanne Gerulskis will share with us 'What's up at the McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center?' We will first look back at 2018 for a short discussion on the challenges and accomplishments as well as a recap of the year's events and exhibits. Since 2013 when the Discover Center became a nonprofit corporation, they have served over 250,000 people from the general public, schools, facility rentals, and workshops.

Two new planetarium shows will also debut in 2019; Moons of the Solar System and Apollo 50th Anniversary/ Stop by the McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center and be sure to visit them on the web at www.starhop.com.
