A comedienne, presenter, video producer, trainer and science communicator, Florence Schechter is also building a vagina museum.
In 2017, she started a project to build the world's first bricks and mortar museum about the gynaecological anatomy, and came Highly Commended in the Women of the Future Awards in the Arts and Culture category for her work with the Vagina Museum.
The museum plans to break the stigma and shame surrounding women’s sexuality with exhibitions covering everything from anatomy and society to periods and sex.
Kim talks to Florence about where the idea came from, the challenges and obstacles she’s faced along the way and how she’s maintained a steadfast focus on making her dream a reality.
