In McCulloch County, there will be two contested races at the local level — Sheriff and Precinct 3 County Commissioner.
Incumbent Sheriff Matt Andrews is being challenged by Arty Roberts.
In Precinct 3, where incumbent County Commissioner Jason Behrens chose not to seek re-election, four people came forward to file as a candidate for the post — Debbie Clifton, Cody Crouch, Chad Hill and Rod Young.
