#16 We Call It a Comeback with Laura Kern

This season we interview brain aneurysm survivors and caregivers to learn how they are navigating new challenges and finding their own way of Doing Good.

In this episode, we interview Laura Kern. When Laura returned home from Keck Medicine of USC, on March 19, 2022, she began her recovery by tracking two strangers, Dr. Russin & myself, running the LA Marathon that same day. Little did she know then,  that only a year after surviving a ruptured brain aneurysm, she would be running that same marathon with us. With a second chance at life, Laura continues to pay it forward by inspiring and helping other survivors return to what they love. This episode was recorded on July 18, 2023.
