On this month's episode, we're in conversation with publishing powerhouse Sharmaine Lovegrove, head of new(ish) imprint Dialogue Books. We talk about what it's been like making the transition from self-employment and running her own businesses to joining a large company as a full-time employee, the business lessons she learned from watching The Apprentice, and how she chooses which books to publish.
Plus – some advice for someone whose bosses keep promising a payrise that's yet to materialise, who's also trying to figure out if she's even on the right career path at the same time.
