On the road to Arden, Taryn and Skala meet Josai, who invites them to walk an orange line that only he can see. Meanwhile, in the Arden Institute of Knowledge and Mental Spirit, Eike and Anyra deal with an angry patron named Ronek who looses three snakes into the archive. Anyra refuses to flee, instead attempting to deal with the snakes herself.
