With its roots dating all the way back to 1984, Grunge took America by storm in the early 90’s. It broke all the rules and defied the norms set by music industry bigwigs. Grunge bands changed the standards by which heavy rock music was done. It changed how bands wrote music, how they presented themselves, how they dressed and in turn, it became a cultural phenomenon that flipped the music and fashion industries on their heads.
