Today’s guest is Ed Skoudis, a SANS Faculty Fellow and the lead for the SANS Penetration Testing Curriculum. Ed led the team that built NetWars, the widely used cyber training and skills assessment that is heavily relied upon by the military and corporations with major assets at risk. His team also built CyberCity, the fully authentic urban cyber warfare simulator. He shares his belief on pen testers and red teamers and the real reason they do what they do. Mr. Skoudis discusses the SANS promise that says you will learn actionable information you can implement immediately when you get back to work. He looks at every lab and course module and asks if it fulfills the SANS promise.
