The Never Too Late To Fly Podcast
Health & Fitness
Episode 38 is a conversation about workouts and feeling like your workouts aren't enough. Jacqueline received a comment on an Instagram post talking about a "workout with me video" that she posted to youtube and that comment inspired this week's Never Too Late to Fly episode. Jacqueline talks about where she started with exercise and movement at over 500 pounds and why 5 minutes was enough and how those same 5 minutes are what led to her being able to go to a gym, join a class and follow her own training program now that gyms have been closed due to COVID-19. We talk about how the only person you should be comparing yourself to is yourself as well as why the opinions of others shouldn't determine your actions. When we allow other people's opinions to determine our actions we don't always remember to do what is best for us. Both of us wanted to share that it is so very important to do what you are capable of while at the same time pushing yourself against your comfort zone. When you are trying to better yourself against yourself you will have a much easier time silencing those critics who may not think you are doing enough or that what you are doing wouldn't work for them. We hope that you find it in you to do whatever workouts are best for you and not to worry if someone else doesn't find your workout challenging or doesn't feel like that workout pushes you enough. Challenge yourself and compete with yourself and success will find you.
