Rob Butler is Director of Performance at the St Louis Cardinals in Major League Baseball. Rob joined the Cardinals having previously been an Assistant Professor and Associate Director at Duke University. Rob is a SUPER smart dude with an Msc in biomechanics and movement science and a Ph.D. in biomechanics from the University of Delaware. Having only had one guest on the podcast who has worked in Major League Baseball, I took this opportunity via ANOTHER introduction from former guest, Martin Buchheit. Hopefully this episode gives an insight into the workings of a performance department in baseball, where its been and where it is heading. Enjoy!
