The Never Too Late To Fly Podcast
Health & Fitness
In episode 69, we explore Jacqueline's thoughts, feelings, and actions following a comment from social media. After she let that comment send her into a tailspin she took a step back and looked inward to figure out why this comment was bothering her so much. After putting in that work Jacqueline came to realize that this comment hit so deeply because she had actually been thinking and feeling living with the fear that she would actually end up back at 500 pounds where she started her journey. When this commenter said this it only reconfirmed what she was thinking about herself. After digging deeper still, Jacqueline had a bit more self-discovery to figure out what she was really afraid of and these fears of never changing her relationship with herself mentally, physically, and emotionally as well as her relationship with food, exercise, and her body. All of these points are areas that needed work and this comment allowed Jacqueline the time to self-reflect and realize that the changes she is making and the work she is doing are actually working as she continues her recovery journey. We hope that having these conversations about difficult times and making progress not only help us to continue on our own journies but help you, our listeners on your journies as well.
Thanks for listening, and remember It's Never Too Late to Fly!
