1. Pause in Gratitude: As you pause in gratitude your energy will shift even amidst a terrible mood.
2. Breathe: Remember that your reptilian brain will be accessed amidst fear. You must breathe in order to access your pre-frontal cortex so that you can move forward with a better response to a fear-filled situation.
3. Realize we all see life from our own lens and worldview. This helps us access understanding and compassion.
