Our short summary of our recent episode with René.
Original podcast description: René Voorhorst, Senior Head of Key Account Management - Nordics & Benelux of National Instruments offers a fresh perspective one of the fundamental qualities of a great leader, putting the self-development of others, over yourself. Rene strongly believes that everyone can be a leader and that it is never too late to move into this role. Leaders have a genuine interest in the development of others and have the ability to influence their team. We discuss that leaders of the future should have strong communication skills, involving active listening and ensure that they as the leader understand their team, before getting the team to understand what is required and the importance of leading by example.
