According to a new study pregnant women with a COVID-19 infection are:

22 times more likely to have a premature birth
14 times more likely to require intubation
15 times more likely to die in hospital

The study involved 869, 079 adult women, including 18,715 women with COVID-19, who underwent childbirth at 499 US medical centers between March 1, 2020- Feb. 28, 2021
