Women are 4x more likely than men to lose their job due to the pandemic and if things continue we may well see that statistic increase. Outside of this some women are being “aged out” of the workforce, others are not content with the impact they are making as an employee and have a bigger vision for themselves.
Regardless of which camp you fall into, starting your own business after a successful corporate #career is never easy, but it may not be as hard as you think and the rewards far outweigh the discomfort. But as with anything if you're going to make a successful transition, what do you need to know or be apart from being resilient, having vision and the tenacity to make it happen?
