CrossWalk - Cross Culture Church RDU
Religion & Spirituality:Christianity
Freedom in Christ; a beautiful phrase. Because of Christ, we are set free from both the penalty of sin and the power of sin over our lives. We’re also set free from trying to earn our salvation, as God provides it to all through faith in Jesus’ substitutionary death on the cross. But, are there some things that we are not free from?
Today we’re jumping back into 1 Corinthians chapter 10 in our “Crossroads” series. In the first part of chapter 10, we learned that freedom in Christ doesn’t mean freedom from temptation, as the Apostle Paul took us on a trip back in time to learn from Israel’s mistakes.
This week, Pastor Clay is going to give us four practical applications from the first half of 1 Corinthians 10, and then walk us through the second half of the chapter to show us something else that freedom in Christ doesn’t mean.
