In this podcast episode we have our BCEN friend Rebecca (Becca to her friends) Steinman. Becca has been a registered nurse for 44 years and a licensed Critical Care Clinical Nurse Specialist for 31 years. She started her career in the ICU but realized she was an “adrenaline junkie” and transitioned to the emergency department where she has worked the past 4 decades. Most of this has been in urban, Level I trauma centers that care for patients of all ages. She has worked for 14 years in the pediatric ED at Ann & Robert H Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago where she is the Nursing Professional Development Practitioner for the ED staff. She is an NPD-BC, CPEN, CEN, TCRN, CCRN, CCNS, and FAEN
