Edmonton City Councillor, Bev Esslinger, hosted me in her office at City Hall where we got a chance to discuss a wide range of topics relating to her life and her job. We drilled down on specific city topics like the Blatchford development, LRT expansion throughout the city, and the interplay between the municipal and provincial levels of government. We also took the time to get more philosophical and discussed things like women in politics, education, and whether you should be voting out of self interest or the common social good.
