This discourse is in answer to the question if one is responsible for their karma. This is the second part to it.
Om Swami says that we cannot hold others responsible for our actions and nor should we run away from performing it. And likewise, others are responsible and accountable for their actions. He says, nature has given all a body, a mind, and intelligence so that they can perform actions after weighing the pros and cons. So, there is no room for excuses later on as to why certain actions were performed.
Om Swami says that all actions spring from thoughts and therefore good thoughts lead to good actions. When one adopts new and progressive thoughts, their thinking becomes likewise and so will their actions. Any person who lives a life of lie cannot be peaceful as the price of a lie is very heavy. But a person who is determined to lead his or her life with honesty will have ninety percent of their problems solved. He says that ultimately we become the one we believe in.
