On the second day of NFLPA Bowl Collegiate practice I spoke with Fresno State Bulldog EDGE David Perales about how he feels being back in Pasadena after getting a win over UCLA and finishing his career as Jimmy Kimmel Bowl LA Bowl Champions. He jokes about the Boise State rivalry & what school has the right to be called the best Bulldog. Jackson State CB Isaiah Bolden spoke on the impact JSU’s rise had on other players here in Pasadena. He also confirmed that Coach Prime’s hatred of back flaps on defensive backs is very real which is why he’s rocking his now. He’s like his production during the week & against the receivers. Boise State defensive lineman Scott Matlock has been noticeably dominant at times & shown a lot of versatility. He spoke on the benefits of having former Boise State Bronco linebacker Andy Avalos as his head coach. Appalachian State OL/OG talked about the lineage of players who have made it to the NFL & different ways coaches teach offensive line play. Rose Bowl-winning QB Sean Clifford has enjoyed his time in Pasadena, can’t wait to join his former Nittany Lion teammates in the NFL. He also wasn’t surprised LB’s Micah Parsons & Odafpe Oweh ran sub 4.3 40s at their pro days. Follow Kenny at @Ozogrande and Touchdowns and Tangents @Tds_Tangents
