We got bonus interviews from the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl week. University of Incarnate Word wide receiver Taylor Grimes had an outstanding career at the small yet incredibly successful Texas college. He spoke on his relationship with QB Lindsey Scott Jr, the NFL concepts of the UIW record-setting offense as well as his stance of Whataburger vs In N Out. UCLA tight Michael Ezeike spoke on what it meant to have one last game in the Rose Bowl, his 3td catch performance against USC, the UCLA tight end lineage and where he resides in the Whataburger vs In N Out debate. Penn State QB Sean Clifford talked about his favorite throw, the back shoulder fade and how well he worked with the receivers while in Pasadena. He also learned a lot from NFLPA teammate in Louisiana running back Chris Smith II. Speaking of Chris Smith II, the Mississippi native is writing a book on his life in Mississippi & Louisiana. He feels everyone has a story to tell whether you make it big or not. He’s also spoke with writer of “All American” and former Oregon linebacker Spencer Paysinger. The former Super Bowl-winning linebacker gave Smith II some advice on how to structure his ideas & storytelling process. He was teammates with potential 1st round pick in offensive guard O’Cyrus Torrence. He & Torrence were roommates before the now-Florida Gator and current Gators head coach Billy Napier left. Smith gave his breakdown of Mississippi food options and top options to eat in Louisiana.
