Keeping Kids Safe Online, Part 1: The Youths on The Interwebs
The BROAD squad is joined by Prairie Public Radio journalist extraordinaire Danielle Webster in a panel discussion on the pitfalls and perils that face our kids when navigating the digital world. As a member of the mythical species called “parents,” Danielle chats with us about her observations on the effects of an always-on digital news cycle, the challenges of raising a child who is a digital native, and the generational differences we see in the use of social media and search engines.
If you’re not a kid or don’t have any, you can still listen in to, well, be informed, but more importantly to remain up-to-date on Scandinavian comfort practices, why Danielle is henceforth nicknamed “Lil’ Saint D,” and how to not be cheugy.
