13 – Behind the Plate with Kalani Martinez: A Catcher’s Story

In this episode, Coaches Allie, Jenn, and Aaron sit down with superstar catcher Kalani Martinez, an 11-year-old from San Antonio, Texas. Kalani is a human highlight reel for young and older catchers alike, and he shares his passion for playing baseball and his love for the catcher position.

Kalani looks up to St. Cardinals legend and future Hall of Famer, Yadier Molina, and talks about how he emulates Molina’s work ethic and dedication to the game. He also shares his daily routine with his dad and how he works to improve his skills as a catcher.
