Aspen Wood remembers wanting to be a mom from a very young age. She was told as a teenager that it was unlikely that she would ever become pregnant due to scar tissue left from being sexually abused at a very young age. During her teenage years she was admitted to the hospital due to a suicide attempt and later went through a program to help her work through the sexual abuse trauma.
