Just as you don't want to get too down in the dumps when you're going through a poor patch of form, it's worth keeping your powder dry when things are good and with that in mind, there probably should be a note of caution surrounding last night's win over Villa in the EFL Cup. We did have to soak up injuries to Adam Wharton and Ebere Eze, we have been rewarded for our efforts with a tie away at Arsenal and we have a game against Wolves away from home to contend with this Saturday evening but regardless of those caveats, it's lovely to be able to bask in the glow of victories after so long without them.
