There is a deeper question to be asked. If you meditate, does that mean you are going to be happier than those who do not meditate? If you meditate, does that mean you are going to be more self-disciplined than those who do not meditate? In other words, all I am trying to say is (a) why meditate and (b) Is mediation on its own enough? When I entered this hall today they blew conch shells and it is your love that blows me away. It’s your love alone that drags me all the way through various airports, security queues, and immigration checks and so on into this country; otherwise there is no other motivation. So when you meditate, yes you will hear conch shells like this because the unstruck sound (anhad naad) is very close to the sound of conch shell in the beginning. As it expands it transforms into many other divine sounds, which I cannot explain. That is something for you to experience.
Having said that, mediation on its own is really not going to make you a very calm person. Meditation on its own is not really going to make you spiritually evolved. Because, please remember one thing you may be a top-notch yogi but it does not mean you are spiritually evolved.
