Often the words Compulsion and Addiction are used interchangeably, but there actually is a difference between a compulsion and an addiction, and I want to help you understand the difference.

I start by giving you a definition of what it means to have a Compulsion and then contrast that with an Addiction. I also talk about the brain's active role in which behaviour you will choose.
