Howard Community College offers Maryland’s only Biomedical Engineering Technology Apprenticeship Program that provides an Associate of Applied Science degree which apprentices earn upon completion. Biomedical equipment technicians (BMETs) install, maintain and repair medical equipment used in hospitals, clinics and other patient care locations.
