Colonel Earnest Latchford MBE, MC wrote every Sunday to his fiance during World War 1 and his service saw him deployed to special missions in Persia and Russia.  Over 100 years later those letters formed a book written by his grandson Mark Latchford who joins us to talk about his book and his grandfather,
