77. Default parenting syndrome
It's January and Sara is still dry, she's sticking with it, even though she feels shattered. Anna is faced with a major blizzard that's set in for the day, looks like the Canadian schools still aren't opening. Stress levels are on the rise, as the kids still aren't heading back to school. The girls are banning the Covid trigger from all conversations on the podcast.
The love desk reports is focusing on the positive for the start of the year as green flags in a relationship are explored. What are the good things you should be looking out for? It turns out dependable isn't boring after all.
Hot topic ..... "default parenting syndrome" have you heard of it, do you recognise this in your relationship? Are you the stand-in or backup parent?
The question this week “my partner wants to become a vegan, I'm a total meat eater and I don't want to change. Why is this happening now?" Hhmmm .... so what's going on with this listener ..... have a listen and see if you can relate to any of this.
The girls have a new motto for 2022 and Anna is no longer a doubting Thomas when it comes to Sara's dry Jan. You can do anything you choose. Commitment is everything! Especially if it's feeding the kids, if you’re the default parent get the back up in place before you step away from that one. Sara’s fired up and ready to go, Anna is facing the blizzard to get medical care for her doggy. We hope her dog gets better soon. Drive safely!
Till next week!
