I used a wordplay about senses of humor. Then, I used a quote by Josh Blue about not ignoring his cerebral palsy. Next, I talked about some of Geri Jewell’s life. And her recurring role on the 1980s NBC TV show, The Facts of Life.
In this week's RITE OF PASSAGE EXPERIENCES or ROPE, I talked about some of the disability jokes and disability ironies of cerebral palsy jokes. I also met Geri Jewell. Once at Marist College in New York in the 1990s. I also met Geri at the Weinstein JCC at ReelAbilities Richmond, VA in 2018. I ended the episode with a clip from Geri about believing in yourself.

Regarding having Cerebral Palsy, I know realistically that I can't go up there on stage and ignore it.
