I used a wordplay about the being prayed upon. Then, I used a quote by Helen Keller about her living in a God-made world. Next, I read an original poem about the religious pressures of being healed.
In this week's RITE OF PASSAGE EXPERIENCES or ROPE, I talked about the ROPE of Bible stories that referenced the lame and sick. I managed my disability with my crutches. My disability was bigger than me. I also talked about figuring things out. Then, I talked about Nancy Eiesland and her disabled God theory.
