She completed two masters degrees and was happily working in her field, until a trip to the doctor's office completely shifted her life. Xiaoyun, thinking she was completely fine, would soon learn that she had a cancerous nodule on her thyroid. Having always been an avid learner, she got to work on figuring out exactly how she got to where she was with her health.
