Joyce's entrepreneurial journey began at age 28 with the founding of EarthCare, an environmental company (non-haz liquid waste company) that she took public on NASDAQ with revenues of $125 million. Now, as COO and Co-founder of SolMicroGrid, Joyce is changing the way businesses handle their energy vulnerabilities.

Joyce has been in the environmental industry for decades in solid waste, recycling, liquid waste, and microgrids/energy. Having seen the end results of waste streams firsthand, she works with corporations to reduce their carbon footprint while driving topline revenue along with bottom-line savings. The best way she has found to do this is through microgrids.

SolMicrogrid innovated on the microgrid concept by creating systems properly sized for restaurants, gas stations, grocery stores, and more. Their clean energy solution provides business resiliency, budget certainty, and keeps businesses in line with their ESG goals. Additionally, they help customers stay in compliance with environmental regulations, and most rewarding, keep their doors open to serve their communities.
