The Women of Michel Artist Michelle Loughery WOM E033
In this series on AR:T ROUTE Radio, Loughery returns to her coal mining town roots, and to the stories of the women of the coal town of Michel B.C. The women talk about life, community and the cultures of the diverse resource community that faced a forced relocation scheme in the 1960’s. Narration will include Loughery’s mother Patricia Kozler, and many of the women that are daughters, and granddaughters of the women of Michel.
