We will be exploring weight from a Health At Every Size perspective, and will discuss ways that mental health professionals can more intentional in addressing the needs of folks in big bodies.

Meet Our Guest
Brit Guerin, LCMHCA, MS, MEd has a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Kinesiology, as well as a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She is a certified ACSM Exercise Physiologist and a trainer for the Size Inclusive Fitness Training Academy. She co-owns Current Wellness, a wellness center in downtown Raleigh with a mission to activate inclusive wellness for mind, body, and community. As a licensed therapist (LCMHCA), Brit specializes in working with folks who are experiencing anxiety, disordered eating, disordered exercise, and trauma-related symptoms. She uses a Health at Every Size® approach, a somatic lens, and the principles of intuitive eating to help clients create a healthy relationship with their body, food, and exercise. She is trained in Embodied Recovery for eating disorders, as well as EMDR for trauma-focused therapy.
