Welcome to Rise and Rouse!
What is it that makes a community whole? What draws us to each other, or pushes us away?
It’s these questions that lead us to build deep, authentic relationships with place and people. Approaching those questions can be challenging, but it is possible.
This week you’ll hear from Bao Nguyen, owner of Phin in Seattle, WA. Bao describes how he drew on his experience as a Vietnamese immigrant, student, and social justice advocate to conceptualize Phin. You’ll hear about what it means to engage in heart-centered entrepreneurship and how to take the long view when engaging in this work.
