Welcome to episode #39 of the Recover with Carly Podcast.
This week I sat down with Brittany Piper, Trauma + Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, sexual violence survivor and advocate, public speaker, and founder of the Healing Hub.
Brittany shared with us what somatic therapy is, how trauma impacts our bodies, the importance of the mind-body connection, and so much more.
Many of us have experienced trauma in some capacity and it is so important for us to understand trauma, how we process trauma, and how we navigate our life after experiencing trauma. If you or someone you know has experienced trauma, this episode will be incredibly insightful. Remember, you are not alone in your experience and healing!
