Episode 44- The Need to be Needed

As humans we all feel a need to be needed and to help our children . What happens though when that need becomes our identity. I have been a mother for 16 years  and I don't know what else to be. Thats my purpose. So you continue to over parent as the child is leaving the nest. In this episode we go deep in to this topic and discuss how that attachment to being that parent  will not only cause you unnecessary suffering but also hinder your relationship with that child. Being a mom is as Henry put it the ULTIMATE CALLING and that is as true a statement that I have ever heard. The calling though evolves unless we try to hold on to it because thats what we think we need to always be. I have seen so many parents suffer their children growing up instead of embracing it and experiencing the beauty it truly is. If your'e a parent you will want to listen in on this one.
