Best Classic Circuit Anthems Megamix — New York City Boy

As I revisited each of the best classic circuit anthems, I noticed that a majority of the songs had a certain grandeur about them. DJs seemed to revel in this opulence, sometimes seemingly without reason. Back in the golden era of dance music, extravagance was the norm. However, upon reflection, I now believe that some of these tracks could do with a bit of creative editing but the longer the better was the rule of thumb back in the day. Tracks like Thunderpuss' remix of New York City Boy by the Pet Shop Boys or DJ Skribble and Anthony Acid’s version of I’m Not in Love, originally lasted a staggering 14 minutes, certainly needed a touch of moderation. Mindfully, I refined these larger-than-life tunes, preserving the authentic feel, but eliminating any superfluous sections. The Thunderpuss remix of hit classic circuit anthem, New York City Boy, remains true to the tradition of stirring passions on the dance floor while our sweaty gay brothers raised their hands to the chorus screaming "VODKA, VODKA" at the top of our lungs.
