They felt that their unique experiences as black women needed to be shared, leading to the birth of the podcast.

Tanya, a connector with a background in fundraising, reflects on her health journey, including navigating hypervigilance and perimenopause. Jessica, a strategic communications professional, shares her perspective on health, emphasizing the shift from emergency-based care to proactive, preventative measures. The hosts delve into their experiences with healthcare providers, highlighting disparities, biases, and the need for a supportive community. They discuss the challenges of finding suitable doctors, the importance of representation, and the impact of shame surrounding health topics.
