In today’s show I started another series, I hope you guys aren't tried of me ... not yet? Cool. Today I set down with a cultural conversationalist Ms. Angelica Smith. Angelica is a music artist and podcaster herself. She has that "it" factor that lets you know she is culturally relevant and sound minded.

I wanted to talk about culture, so reaching out to Jellie was a no brainer. Fun fact, we've literally never met. That is a true testament to the beauty and familiarity that culture brings to the black community. This episode is a conversation, specifically on the cultural component of Black Music, in celebration of black music month.

Without giving away the entire episode, I will say that I think you would particularly enjoy how Angelica shares with us what separates our culture as black peoplke from other cultures. I know you will enjoy her take on what music does for us emotionally. She has a way of understanding where we were, while relating it to where we are and having hope for where we want to go.
