The British Isles found themselves torn to pieces by war, and a new legend rose out of Scotland. Born William Wallace, this twenty-something warrior rose to prominence by showing undying commitment to the cause of independence. Although he was romanticized by the Mel Gibson film, Wallace was no Braveheart, but would become so much more. On this episode we discuss William Wallace.
