DigEst er et af forskningsområder inden for ForEst, Forskningsgruppe for estetiske læreprosesser. Projektet handler om hvordan de digitale, æstetiske og kollektive aspekter af en læringsproces kan bidrage til motivation, inspiration og læring i et klasserum. Samtidig vil der udforskes hvilke muligheder æstetiske læreprocesser har i forhold til digital dannelse, digital identitet og hvordan de kan styrke børnenes og skole elevernes digitale kompetence.
Joanna Magierecka i samarbejde med Elin Bøen og DigTekLab har udarbejdet et forløb der krydser rundt denne problemstilling. En gruppe på 35 studenter fra vores net- og samlingsbaseret børnehavelæreruddannelse, campus Notodden, i faget KKK 1. har deltaget på en tilrettelagt æstetisk læreproces, der havde en fiktionsramme som udgangspunkt, og hvor digital teknologi blev brugt som værktøj. I studio fortæller to af studenterne, Guro og Hilde, om sin oplevelse og reflekterer omkring forløbet. Den tredje deltager, Linn Therese har ikke haft mulighed til at deltage og derfor er nysgærrig på at finde ud af hvad det hele gik ud på. Noget som ikke lader sig let forklare.
