I would strongly suggest that it is also the death of spiritual depth.

Here is a question that will seem ridiculous but it’s worth your time to try and answer - What do you think about all day?…

Frequently: I exist solely for…. 

Withdrawing…

Prayer: exchange my desires and wishes for Gods and desires and wishes.  

 

Again, you can’t have intimacy without time and focused attention with God.

 

Or let me put it this way… the answer to your problem (Any problem- all problems) is simply more time with Jesus.

 

Get away daily, take time even sacrifice other things for time to be with Jesus.
