Meg Kinnear, ICSID

Over the past several years, Investor State Dispute Settlement has been a point of hot-debate in many nations around the world.  Transparency, expropriation of public funds and other topics have been some of the main issues underpinning that debate.  The International Centre for Settlement of Investor Disputes (“ICSID”) of the World Bank has been on the front lines of that debate. 

This week’s guest, Meg Kinnear, is the Secretary-General of ICSID and is a prominent figure in the field of Investor-State Disputes.  On this week’s episode she discusses the current state of the ICSID and reflects on her own career that brought her to leading such a dynamic and revered organization.
