Fishing industries in Ireland should benefit from the EU Brexit adjustment fund because they’ll be so negatively impacted by the UK’s exit from the EU.
So says Fianna Fail MEP Billy Kelleher.
The five billion euro (€5 billion) fund is to be made available to sectors most effected by Brexit.
The new EU-UK trade deal will see a twenty five percent decline in EU fishing rights in UK waters over the next five and a half years.
