From 10:30am until noon on Tuesday March 2nd there will be a new edition of the radio show “News from the Drug War Front” brought to you by CAHMA, Canberra’s peer-based drug user organisation.

- Fewer Australians are seeking testing and treatment for hepatitis C, according to a new report from Burnet and Kirby Institutes monitoring Australia’s progress in eliminating the disease.
-Police in Queensland are targeting “drug drivers” in a state-wide operation
- The Netherlands, Australia, New Zealand and the United States are consuming the highest amounts of designer ‘party’ drugs, according to wastewater samples taken from eight countries over the New Year period.
-We will read and discuss the piece by Iain McPhee “Only junkies”: How stigma and Discrimination Link to Rise in Drug Deaths Among Scotland’s Poor.”
